They have been robbed of the chance to experience basic human security, to pursue educational pursuits, or simply to play and laugh with their friends.

14.6 Million in Need of Assistance

More than 14.6 million people in Syria need humanitarian assistance due to the ongoing crisis. The conflict has caused widespread destruction and displacement, leaving many in need of support and assistance. Our organisation is committed to helping those affected by this crisis and we invite you to join us.

6.9 Million Displaced

The conflict in Syria has led to the displacement of 6.9 million people. This has resulted in a severe shortage of basic necessities, including food, shelter and medical care. We are working to provide support and assistance to those affected by the crisis, providing vital supplies and aid to those in need.

Nearly 90% Living Below Poverty Line

The crisis has caused economic hardship in Syria, with nearly 90% of the population living below the poverty line. We are striving to help those in need, helping to ensure that basic necessities are met. We are working to provide food, shelter and medical care, as well as educational and emotional support, to those affected by the crisis.

Food and Nutrition Aid

At ILM, we are committed to providing food and nutrition aid to those affected by the crisis in Syria. With your help, we have been able to provide food aid to thousands of people, as well as Qurbani distributions for the holy month of Ramadan. Our food aid includes essential supplies such as grains, oil, sugar and flour, as well as meals for those in need.

Healthcare Assistance

Our healthcare assistance programmes provide vital support to those affected by the crisis in Syria. We are providing healthcare services to over 1.3 million people, including access to medical care and supplies. We are also providing Covid-19 related health services and supplies, including PPE and face masks, to help protect vulnerable communities.

Winter Survival Items

We’re also providing winter survival items to over 1 million people in need. These items include blankets, warm clothes and heaters, helping them to stay warm during the harsh winter months. With your support, we are able to provide these essential items to those most in need.

Mobile Emergency Units

At ILM, we are providing vital healthcare interventions to help those in need. We are running healthcare facilities such as mobile emergency units, health centres and specialist dialysis centres. These mobile units can help provide quick and efficient healthcare relief in emergency situations.

Established and Supported Heart Surgery Centres

We have established and supported the only heart surgery centre in the region. This heart surgery centre is essential for providing lifesaving healthcare to those in need and will make a huge difference for those suffering from heart-related illnesses.

Medical Supplies

We have provided medical supplies that are vital in many healthcare settings, including physiotherapy and recovery items such as splints, mobility assistance devices, crutches, and braces. We also provided medical disposables and specialist instruments and equipment, helping to make sure that we have all the essentials needed to provide effective healthcare services.

Providing Awareness-Raising Activities

At ILM, we are at the forefront of the response to the Covid-19 outbreak. We have delivered awareness-raising activities in primary healthcare centres to help reduce the spread of the virus. We provided 84 health facilities with personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves and medical gowns, as well as no-contact thermometers, hand disinfectant gels, disinfectant sprays and other sterilisation solutions. Our efforts have enabled thousands of people to access free healthcare services, even during these difficult times.

Providing Healthcare to Millions of People

Our healthcare interventions have enabled us to provide healthcare to over 1.2 million people in the region. Alongside running healthcare facilities, we provide wages to healthcare staff, essential training and support with running costs and transport. This has drastically improved access to critical healthcare services for those living in remote or poor areas.
