PLEASE NOTE DUE TO COVID19 THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED.
Why not do something truly amazing, get some fresh air... some real fresh air, stay fit, meet new friends and at the same time raise money for ILM UK’s worldwide charity work.
This spectacular trek starts at Pen Y Pass on the Pyg track. The shortest walking route up Snowdon at 5.5km and the one that involves the least amount of ascent.
We will spend around 20mins at the top where you can get refreshments in the café, take in the scenery and of course get those all important photographs. Our descent down Snowdon will be via the Miners Track down to Pen y Pass one of the easier routes. A pause for breath at almost any point on any this walk will give you the opportunity to look around at some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK!
Registration is only £45.00 and upon completion of the challenge every walker will receive a personalised ‘Certificate of Achievement’.
ILM UK supports people throughout the Majority World. We work with economically unstable communities, addressing fundamental human rights such as food, clean water and healthcare, helping people reach their full potential. Funds raised from this walk will facilitate our fantastic work.
To be part of this fantastic event and raise much needed funds that will help our brothers and sisters around the world, simply complete the registration form below and send your £45 registration fee by post, or call 03000 111 000 to pay over the phone. You will need a good, well ‘worn-in’ pair of walking boots and waterproof over trousers, a hat, sun cream, a fleece or jacket and gloves, since the weather can change dramatically throughout the day.
This spectacular scenery does have testing surfaces on which to walk, great care must be taken especially when the rock is wet or is muddy since it becomes slippery.
