Flooding in Pakistan has destroyed lives
The unprecedented monsoon rains which started in Pakistan in June 2022 and show no sign of stopping have caused widespread flooding across the whole country. The floods have already killed over 1,000 people across Pakistan with over a quarter of a million homes destroyed or badly damaged. Over a third of Pakistan is under water and estimates show over 33 million people are displaced.
Help families affected
Due to the severity of the flooding, essential aid has taken a while to reach the victims of the flood and people are struggling to survive. The people worst affected already had very little and now have nothing left.
